Sometimes we reach a point where we can’t seem to make the pieces fit on our own anymore.
There are days that, in spite of our innate resilience and support systems, the hill we have to climb is just a bit too steep or the lift is just a bit too heavy.
We may be stuck in patterns of behavior that once worked for us but no longer do, and we are in a cycle of habits that we know are “bad” for us but can’t figure out how to stop. We can find ourselves far down paths of relationships or careers and not only unclear how we got there, but unable to determine the first step towards making a change.
We may have been “holding it together” for so long that we know no other way anymore, and the load we have been carrying has become too much.
